    Thanks this was quite informative, found the reason for most of my baking failure right here, butter is quite expensive here in Trinidad so I use margarine so I just got a clearer understanding of the difference between both.

    Thank you for the detailed information on butter.
    I always wondered what the difference was especially when I see certain products used by catering services eg, Mastercraft yellow margarine for cakes &cookies, Mastercraft white for frosting/icing.
