Jour 4 terminé! meilleur pain que j’ai fait à ce jour. Je l’ai refait 2 autres fois depuis, en utilisant de la farine de blé entier et il était excellent!

I need recipe for 7 inch Pullman pan

    1. Barbara – you can make the dough for a 9-inch pan. Use 3/4 of the dough in the 7-inch pan and use the leftover dough to make dinner rolls. Sorry I don’t have exact measurements for a 7-inch pan.

Hi, I have 2 questions…….#1) Would this be considered Texas Toast if the bread is sliced thick around 1″ give or take. #2) Is the 13″ pan you specify in the recipe a Pain de Mie type pan and do you bake with the lid or use the pan without the lid? Thank you.

    1. Mike, this one is not baked with a lid! That’s why we get a nice round dome on top.

  5. This looks great! Why do you have to mix the yeast separately if it’s instant??

    1. You can add it directly but doing it separately just helps me ensure the yeast is working. A full proof way to make bread.
