Hi Veena I do not have a stand mixer. If mixing by hand do I have to knead the dough for 10 mins in total ?

        1. Yes, that would do Charalyn. Look for a smooth elastic dough instead of the time. If you knead with the right technique this can be achieved in 6 to 7 mins too

  2. Please could I ask for the measurements of the tin you used for this recipe?

    Thanks ?

  3. Can we make a complete whole wheat sandwich loaf? What would quantities be?

    1. You can make a complete whole wheat loaf. Use the same recipe but use less flour.

  4. Veenaji, I don’t have loaf tin. Need to buy it. Tried last time without the tin but the shape was totally gone. Wl buy it soon. Can u send me the next receipe please? Wl try this one as soon as I purchase the tin. Thanks.

    1. All recipes will be automatically sent to you on the day they are scheduled by the class Rashmi. Thanks

    Hi Veenaa,

I tried your recipe twice and the taste was really good. I do have a problem with the crumb of the bread though. I use a regular bread tin (8.5-inch x 4.5-inch x 2.75-inch). My bread rises about 2cm above the height of the bread tin. So the crumb is more dense than yours. I don’t get the nice holes that you have. What do you think I have done wrong?

The first time I made it, I kneaded it in my KitchenAid (not the pro series). The machine couldn’t handle the dough very well. The second time I hand kneaded it for at least 10mins until I think it’s soft and smooth.

Hope you can give me some advice. Thank you!

    1. Hey Eng, Hard to say because I can’t really see the dough or the finished product. Perhaps you can share pictures next time in our facebook group so I can see it.
