Even from the photos you can just SEE how fluffy this cake is. Hope mine turns out as light and airy, I’ll let you know how it goes!

Veena I am so happy I found your blog but I’m so upset I got to know about your blog now. Someone in the group shared one of your recipes and then there so many raving about all the stuff they tried from your blog.
I’m in love with your blog and I’ve been visiting you every day this whole week. I baked this cake today and wow.. it definitely is the best vanilla cake my family ever tired. Thank you so much for sharing all your wonderful recipes and tutorials. It is a big blessing for people like me.. who are at home doing little things every day.

    1. Yes, you can use this with fondant Dan. Just make sure you dowel the cake if you have more than one tier.

Hi Veena, can you please tell me why when I bake my cake it rises perfectly but after take it outfrom the oven it flop? Thanks

There can be lots of reasons..Over mixing or under mixing..
Over mixing is usually the most common. Check next time not to over mix the batter when you add your eggs.
Also make sure you incorporate the flour well so there are no lumps. Under mixing the flour tends sink the cake in the middle most often.
      Hope this helps.

Made this cake today and we didn’t decorate it. I have to make this again tomorrow. I was supposed to make it for my daughters birthday – I cut the dome and then it was over. Part of me is upset that it’s over and I have to make it again I’m also excited that I found the best vanilla cake ever! Thank you so much.
