  1. Hi Veena,
What kind of pan do you use to get such a tall loaf? I was wondering if you have an affiliate link with all the products that you use for cooking and baking. I use a 9×5 inch pan, while the dough rises beautifully, they seem to droop a little on the sides, the edges aren’t as straight as yours.

    1. Hey Mita. The 9 x 5-inch pan is what I have used for this recipe. Regular sandwich bread without a lid with droop slightly on the sides.
If you looking for a Pullman style loaf that’s square on all sides you will need to bake in a Pullman bread pan as I have in my recipe for Pullman Sandwich loaf. I hope that makes sense.
I have linked the pans that I use in the post under useful tips and tools.

    Hi Veena,
I accidentally landed on your website sometime back and what a lucky accident it was! ? Just love your detailed instructions and tips.
I am from India and these stand mixers are not yet very common here. But food processors are quite common. So I was wondering if this bread can be made using a food processor. Could you give some deatils/tips on that?

    1. Hey Richa. Welcome to my blog, indeed a lucky accident. I think you will love some of my bread recipes. Yes, of course, a food processor works for bread too!! I’m sure your comes with a plastic attachment for dough. Please use it instead of a stand mixer. I use a stand mixer for my videos but often I make bread old school just a bowl and my hands. First, it’s easy for me and second I hate clean dishes lol

I made whole wheat bread and it turned out hard from the top..please help..i covered it with foil once it was appropriately brown

    1. Gurpreet did you try this recipe? For this recipe, you cover on the top as soon as it gets lightly brown. It will continue to brown more as it cook further, so you must take that into account. The foil helps it not burn but the sugar in the milk will still continue to give it a brown color. I hope this helps
