What an absolutely beautiful cake. The flavors are my favorite and three tiers look so beautiful. You added so many great tips the recipe feels very accessible. Thank you!

    1. Thank you Ginny! I love tall cakes so I usually prefer three or four layers in my cake. Thanks

I am so impressed with this cake! Delicious, and so beautifully decorated. I rarely try to make layer cakes because I always mess them up, but this is making me want to try again because even if I couldn’t get it looking as good as yours, I know it would still be so tasty!

    1. Thank you, Christine. I love tall cakes and this is so easy. You don’t really need to make it perfect. You can try a more rustic look.

I adore each and every cake of yours Veena! They are just so beautiful and the flavors are right on. I love butterscotch ice cream, cake and everything butterscotch. I grew up eating them back in India, but so hard to get a good one here at stores. I am trying out the sauce to bring back some memories of the childhood.

    1. Thank you, Sandhya. So kind of you to say so. I love anything butterscotch too! In India butterscotch is a big deal more than caramel. Yes, the sauce is a must try. Let me know what you think.

Oh! I am DEFINITELY going to make this! It looks absolutely stunning! But, I’m going to have to make a double batch of the sauce, especially if it really tastes like butterscotch! I remember eating butterscotch candies as a kid. Yummy! I’ll have to plan a day soon to make this! Does the buttercream have to be refrigerated?

    1. Hey Tammy, Yes you must try this. I highly encourage making a double batch of butterscotch sauce. We love to eat it with a spoon and of course when there is ice cream it goes on ice cream and whipping cream. Yes, There is huge debate on if Swiss meringue buttercream needs to be refrigerated. I know some who can keep it out in good weather for upto three days but she lives in Scotland and had good weather. But I live in a hot and humid weather so I will keep it in the fridge if it’s needed for more than a few hours. I hope that makes sense.

I live in hot humid Florida. So, i would need to do as you do probably! Thank you! Can’t wait to make it!
