I make this at least 4, some 6, times a month. Our youngest, who refuses to eat the crust of most bread, always asks for the end piece of this bread because they like it so much. This is absolutely my go-to bread. It comes together quickly and consistently.

Love this recipe and the wheat bread one also. I made the wheat yesterday making white today. Thank you for sharing. Turns out perfect in my pullman pan.

I think I’m putting too much oil in pan. I think since it’s non stick I won’t add oil because it gets a crispy crust. Also I think I’m cooking it too long?

You can use a thermometer the first few times to check the right times, Hilary.

    hi Veena
How do I adjust the recipe to fit my pullman loaf pan size 10cm x 12cm x 13cm? Is there a formula to work out dough size for different loaf pan size? Thanks in advance.

I have only tested the three sizes so far. The best way is to make the dough. Fill the pan to 2/3 full then let it rise to 3/4 full – Bake.

Same here! Very dry so I added more milk. Still rising so I’m praying it works out.

The first go around, didn’t work. I forgot to weigh the dough before I put it in the pan. Second turned out perfect I find that 1050 g dough works Well, in my 13 inch Pullman.
    Delicious bread, hands down.

    oh my, oh my!
I was looking for a recipe to try my pullman tin out for the first time. I am SO glad I chose this one. I made the 9x4x4 mix, by weight. It was quite a wet mixture, but i went with it and had INCREDIBLE results. It is insanely good, super duper fluffy and slices very, very well (i did manage to wait the hour before slicing, but it was a struggle with how good it smelt)
I’m vowing to never buy plain white sandwich bread again.
