    I LOVE making ice cream with whipping cream, it’s so easy, simple and delicious! And most importantly, it does not require an ice cream making machine! Great recipe.

    Veena, I love how simple and easy this ice cream is and your tip on avoiding ice crystals in the fruit. I have a question. My nephew is diabetic, so the sweetened condensed milk is a no-no for him. Any thoughts on a substitution? Something low-carb.

      Hey Lisa. Evaporated milk is condensed milk without sugar added, but it’s not thick enough. Unless you thicken evaporated milk further and then add honey or your choice of sweetener to the recipe. I think he will love it.
