    This is such a classic and an all-time favourite at our house. You’re right cakes with whipped cream don’t last very long….our guests eat it all in a flash LOL! Great recipe.

    This is perfect for spring! I just bought a lot of strawberries and heavy cream because I was craving that flavor combination. Now if only I had you living next door to me and I could come over for a luscious piece this cake!

    Also you posts are so informative….I had no idea there were two kinds of powdered sugar. I’m make sure to buy cane from now on. Great post!

    I would love this for my birthday cake. It would also be perfect for Mother’s Day, or even a bridal shower. Cannot wait till fresh berry season.

    Gorgeous cakes! super aspirational for me. Never heard of cream of tartar as an ingredient.

    1. Thansk, Jenna. Cream of tartar can be found very easily. Often used in meringues as well.

    Hi with the cream . Could i use wippin n ice and add the strawbbery in the middle thank you

    veena ,does this cake(genoise) hav eggs added to it during baking.or r there any vegan versions of it .would love to try this.
