    My dinner rolls were beautiful, but they weren’t super flavorful. I used olive oil instead of butter because I wasn’t sure if the butter should be melted or not (written directions weren’t specific – and I hadn’t looked at the video yet!). Im not sure if that would’ve made a difference, because I don’t typically use salted butter and I felt like the rolls were lacking salt. BUT, I definitely learned a few things about making bread and using yeast, so I’m still very happy with my first class and look forward to more. Thank you!

    1. Thank you for your feedback, Judy. You can add more salt if you like for sure. We add unsalted room temperature butter to the dough while kneading. If you use oil you will need to add it to the yeast mixture.
