    followed instructions exactly
    made a double batch and hand kneaded. my dough would never fully double. not on first or second rise.
    Definitely cannot make this recipe without a stand mixer.
    bland at best.

    1. Hi Sky. I have made this recipe countless times without a stand mixer ( I do have one, but I am often too lazy to wash it, so I knead by hand).
      The no-dough rise on both occasions is more of a yeast problem – either the yeast has expired or the water used for the yeast was not warm but more than 110F

    This recipe is top notch!! My rolls came out high, fluffy and moist! I usually use my own recipe, but was out of eggs. I will not worry about eggs anymore making dinner rolls!

    I made this recipe today and stuffed the rolls with pepperoni. They turned out beautifully. I was impressed with the ease that the dough came together and stretched out for stuffing. Thank you for a great recipe, I look forward to making again.
