Hi, I have an instant pot. How long should I proof the bread for please?
    Thanks,
    Vicki-Ann

    1. Hey Vicki. You can use the yogurt (low temperature) setting – and let proof until double in size. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes.
Make sure to oil the bowl well so it’s easier to take out later. And use a plate rather than the instant pot lid because it is very difficult to clean the lid if the dough reaches up.
      Thanks

  2. Hi your recipie says to divide your dough into two and place one into your Dutch oven. What do you do with the other loaf? Are you using two Dutch ovens or baking one after the other?

    1. Hey Suzanna. So sorry. I recently updated the recipe for one loaf and added a video as well. But, forgot to correct the part that says to divide the dough into two. I just rechecked and updated. Thank you for brining it to my attention.

  3. Also can I substitute some of the plain flour with wholewheat flour? Say one cup wholewheat three cups all purpose? Would I have to adjust the water amount?

    1. You can use WW flour Hana and you may need to adjust water based on consistency and cooking time. Rest will the same

      1. Hi what happens if you don’t have a Dutch oven? How can you cook the bread otherwise?
        Thanks

i made this and it was beautiful! After 25 mins with the lid on and 20 mins with the lid off, the top was beautifully golden but the sides were still pale but the bread was baked. Do bake it a bit longer to get an even colour all over?

Absolutely delectable bread, without fail, thank you thank you for this wonderful recipe! I generally make the whole dough into one loaf of bread. I do increase the baking time by trial and error but notice that the bottom becomes thicker than the top crust! Is there any other adjustments temperature wise, that I should be doing?

    1. Thank you, Toa. The longer you bake the harder and thicker the crust will become.
