  1. What type of curry spice should be used for this recipe ?

    1. Hey Suzanne – you can use store-bought Curry Powder or garam masala spice mix. It can be found in most supermarkets these days on the spice aisle.
These are made with simple spice powders like cayenne pepper, Chili powder, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric powder, etc.

If you use yogurt, would you use that instead of coconut milk or as well as?

    1. Yes, absolutely! You can also use half yogurt and half coconut milk if you don’t mind dairy. Thanks

We had a last-minute dinner change, so I had to come up with an easy ground beef dish in a crunch. This was very easy and flavorful. In fact, it’s a lot easier to do than other Indian curries I make. This is a new favorite!

    1. It definitely is easier than most other curries, Sarah. And very versatile too. Thanks for the feedback.

My best friend and I make this at least weekly. I’ve made it with ground chicken, turkey, and beef. All are excellent. Love this staple! I serve it over roasted cauliflower. My friend has served it over tofu. Goes really well with a side of any roasted veggie if avoiding carbs.

    1. Thank you so much, Chrissie, for the lovely feedback. I am so happy you are enjoying this recipe.
