Made half batch of donuts following recipe. First time making donuts and figured my husband and I probably should not be eating a full batch while they are still fresh. They cooked quickly- a bit more than a minute on each side. These are light and delicious. Half filled with preserves and half with a white cream. The process went quicker than I expected.

    1. Hey Rebekah, Usually, I blend in the food processor and then strain it through a sieve. Sometimes, I even reduce it to make a concentrated puree.

I’ve made these now, the 8th or 9th time and every time I make them, everybody keeps asking for the recipe. I always promised to make one of two fillings, yet the fillings are so easy I make a few. Thanks so much for the recipe. It is truly a no-fail recipe for me, and I’m only 24.

Homemade filled donuts always seemed intimidating, but this recipe made it so approachable. I filled mine with salted caramel cream, and they were absolutely dreamy!

These donuts took me straight back to my childhood! I loved making different fillings—I did one batch with chocolate ganache and another with passion fruit cream. Thank you for such an easy-to-follow recipe!

I made these for a family brunch, and they were the first thing to disappear! I tried your suggestion of filling them with coffee cream, and WOW—it was like a fancy bakery treat at home!

I’ve never made donuts from scratch before, but these turned out so soft and fluffy! I went a little wild with the fillings—some with vanilla cream, some with Nutella, and even a few with lemon curd. Absolute heaven!

My grandmother used to make homemade donuts, and I always wanted to try making them myself. These were just as good as I remember! I filled half with custard and half with raspberry jam—both were absolutely delicious!
