    Hi Veena I have always made my buttercream with 1 pack 250g butter and 1 pack 500g icing sugar with a couple spoons water which means I really dont have to measure. I tried adding your suggestion, the cream, instead of water with good results.
    I used to have a very sticky kitchen many years ago with icing sugar flying everywhere as I used to seive it but have mastered this over the years as my mixer allows me to just add the icing sugar without sifting.

    1. Thank you VaL. When you add the icing sugar in the mixer bowl place a towel over the stand mixer – then turn it on low. The towel will prevent icing sugar clouds so your kitchen won’t be a mess.
