It has been a while I have made apple turnovers, your pleated apple turn over is delicious. Since fall is here I am going make some. Love the idea of make a big one rather than individual ones.

Oooh! It does look wonderful. I love apples and cinnamon – what a great combination. I usually like to add a touch of nutmeg too. I love your term — pleated instead of braided. But don’t the English also call braids, pleats? I bet the aroma when it’s baking is terrific. I’m pinning this to make next week.

I’m with you on the Granny Smith Apples. They are my favorite option to use when baking an apple dessert. These turnovers are really delicious-looking and the pleating is fantastic!

Rustic looking and so delicious. What a great way to enjoy apple season. This would be perfect for brunch on the weekend, or dessert for Sunday dinner.
