    I would have loved to do the assignment .. however I am unable to get yeast in any of the groceries .. it is out of stock (we are on lockdown in Mumbai). So will do the assignment, once I can get Instant Yeast. Though Instant Yeast is added directly, is it ok to proof it before adding to the flour etc so that we are doubly sure that the yeast is active?

    1. The purpose of doing it ahead and waiting is to make sure the yeast is active. That way, you don’t waste ingredients. You can do these when you have yeast.

    Day 3 done. I added oil instead of butter.skipped egg wash and brushed with ghee. Didn’t get the even brown colour, tasted good!

    Just a question out of curiosity, can I use coconut milk instead of milk?

    1. Yes, you can use coconut milk instead of milk. You may need to adjust flour quantity by a bit

        1. Well, yes, but that you will have to decide depending on how it absorbs four – Use half cup less then add more if necessary.
