It really depends on what you are cooking. Ground beef loves to absorb flavors. Spices like cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne, curry powder, mustard, and chilly are wonderful additions. We used some of these when we made our mince beef curry as well as Moroccan kebabs.
Ground beef is very versatile and can be used in many preparations. For example, if you are cooking Italian food, add some basil, oregano, rosemary, and thyme as we did in our spaghetti and bolognese sauce or spaghetti meatballs. You can also use parsley when you make casseroles like mashed potato casserole, or cottage pie.
