These were so so good! We made half a batch of these and filled them all with cream cheese filling, and wow they were all gone within a couple of hours! Such a good detailed recipe! I am a beginner in deep frying and haven’t made doughnuts for years, so the instructions were much appreciated! Thanks a lot! Will try a few more of your fillings soon too!

Now THESE are my kinda doughnuts!! Can’t wait to try out the recipe, thanks for sharing 🙂

    1. Thanks for replying. I have a tropical blend of frozen fruits that I plan to use but I’m not using your filling for donuts. I’m planning to make a trifle. Planning to use your vanilla pastry cream and a white cake that I baked/froze 2 weeks ago to complete my trifle. Crossing fingers that those flavors are going to go well together ?? At some point I do want to make your donuts. I’ve tried making them once before (not your recipe) but I had a hard time keeping the oil at the right temp. Basically it was a fail and a waste of lots of ingredients. But your tip may just be what I need to succeed. Thanks again. I’ll come back to let you know how my trifle came out at least, lol…

  7. Love these Veena and wish I had one for after dinner tonight. The pink cream in the middle is so nice and delicate. I think everyone would gobble these up!

    1. Thank you, Tammie. Not the raspberry seeds will not disappear in the blender. You will need to use a sieve and strain them out. You can replace other fruits or berries for this recipe too.

  8. Wow they are stuffed full aren’t they? I hate when doughnuts don’t have enough filling.

    These look lovely.

    1. Thank you for having an actually recipe for the filling. I’ve been looking for over an hour then your recipe appeared. If I wanted to use a different fruit would I just replace the fruit with the same amount as that’s listed for the raspberry puree? One question about the raspberry puree. I’m not fond of the seeds. When pureeing them will the seeds well, basically disappear due to blitzing them in the chopper or will I have to use a sieve to remove them? Hope to hear back from you soon as if love to make these today…

  9. A doughnut tradition is definitely something I can get behind! Love the idea of making these for the holidays! My family would love any kind of cream or jam filled doughnut!

  10. I am drooling. These donuts look amazing. Thanks for this recipe. I will make it this weekend for sure.
