Life has become so complicated these days isn't it? I remember my mom made a batch of cupcakes and we'd all be so happy and enjoy. None of us complained that we wanted vanilla over chocolate etc. That's how we were raised to appreciate things. And appreciate the effort mom put into making cupcakes for us.
That isn't the case with the current generation. My mom always raises her eyebrows when I tell her that Aadi won't eat this or Rhea does not like that. So, Aadi loves only vanilla cupcakes, but Rhea will only eat them if there are chocolate chips in there, and Ziv, the biggest kid of them all, will only eat chocolate cupcakes. So, in one batch of cupcakes, I have to please three different taste buds.
My family is not the only one with this issue. Some of my customers have the same dilemma. There are kids who will eat only vanilla, while some want only chocolate. So, when I make cupcakes now I make this recipe and split it in three so I can please my three clowns. And of course, since I already have a proven recipe my customers can have a choice too! Right? Why not?

About this recipe
As you can see, this recipe is really as simple as can get. And, it's easy with no special mixer or machines. A bowl and whisk will do the job for this one. Also, the ingredients are straightforward and no additional preparations are needed.

More flavors?
I do not want to confuse you, and yet I do play around with this recipe a LOT!! I have made many different variations mostly for customers. Most of my adult customers would prefer more adult type of options such as Kahlua and Cointreau. Choices which are honestly so much fun. So, here are three more choices for you.
Remember one basic recipe will make only 3 variations so choose three of the six option I have below.
