    Give you classic lemonade a strawberry treat with this strawberry lemonade. It takes just five minutes to make but is the most refreshing summer drink ever.

    Whether fresh or frozen, there is no denying strawberries are a popular fruit. Set them on a plate for a pool party or beside an exotic glass of champagne, these can melt your heart. As soon as we start seeing strawberries in summer my kids will start prompting me to make milkshakes and smoothies.

    In summer, lemonade is the official drink of choice. But, add a few strawberries to it and OMG!!

    Step by step instructions

    • In a blender, add strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
    • Pour it into a large pitcher. Top with soda water or plain water
    • Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.
    • Enjoy!

    Description

    Give you classic lemonade a strawberry treat with this strawberry lemonade. It takes just five minutes to make but is the most refreshing summer drink ever.

    Conversions Used

    1 lb = 453 grams, 1 cup = 240 ml, 1 stick = 113g, 1 tbsp= 15 ml, 1 tsp= 5 ml,

    Ingredients 

    • 14 oz (400 g) Strawberries
    • 1 cup (240 ml) Lemon juice ((about 4 lemons) )
    • ½ cup (100 g) Sugar
    • 1 cups Ice
    • 4 cups Soda  water

    Garnish

    • 10 Lemon slices
    • 10 Mint leaves
    • Ice cubes ((Optional) )

      We re started with our strawberry plot last year after 6 good years of 'service' from our old one, we missed making strawberry drinks last year, we should be back up to 20-30kg harvest this year though 🙂

      That is a really good sounding drink. Refreshing with the combination of fresh strawberries and lemons. I want to try the mix with the club soda. Great Valentines Day drink and of course, the glasses that contain your drink are 100% out of the box!
