  1. Hi! Thank you for creating this timeline 🙂 while I’m not a professional cake maker, i have taken upon myself to make my childrens cakes and they keep getting intricate year after year.

    For the last restingc after it’s finalized, is that at room temperature?

    1. I’m glad you found this timeline useful, Martha. Every cake is different. In most cases, we bring the cake to room temperature before serving. However, if the cake is being picked by a customer, or is going to travel then keeping is chilled works best.
