Should you sift the powered sugar?

How long cam this fondant be stored?

    1. Just like homemade fondant. A three months at room temperature or 6 months in the fridge. If kept properly wrapped.

This is so pretty !!! I always used to wonder ‘How do we make that icing at home’ and here you’re with this easy peasy recipe. I’m saving it for a special occasion cake (although I can literally eat most of the icing just like that 😉

I wish I had this recipe a few years ago! When my kids were small I always made elaborate cakes for their birthdays. I guess I got worn out or they just wanted store bought cakes and my days of making fondant and fun cakes was over 🙁 . Maybe I’ll have to try again one of these days – this looks easy enough to make it simple!

    1. Aww I’m sure you will have a go at them again – there is always a good reason to make decorated cakes. Thanks Jodi.

I am always amazed at the artistry that is reflected in so many cakes! In my wildest dreams I would never be able to make such pretty cakes! I’m doing good to drizzle some icing over the edges. LOL Having said that, this marshmallow fondant sounds delicious and sure looks like you can make some creative designs with it. I love seeing all the fancy decorated cakes!

    1. Than you so much Noel. This recipe would work great for someone like you who does not do cakes other wise but needs a quick fondant for a one off cake. It’s simple, easy and very friendly.

        HI
Can l use this mashmellow fondand to drizzle over a cake?
If so at what stage should l do this please.
After it has been melted and cooled down…help
        Thank you
        RAN

        1. Marshmallow fondant is like a dough so you cannot drizzle over a cake. You can roll it out and cover the cake with it. I think you can melt fondant and use for petit fours and stuff but I have not tried any of that wit this cake. I highly recommend you do a trial with a small quantity first before doing a bit batch
