  5. Thank you for this very informative post, I really enjoyed reading it. I have heard a lot about Hokkaido milk buns and I had no idea they are made with a sort of roux added to the dough! Pretty amazing that such a simple step can make a whole difference in texture.

    Veena, you reminded me my childhood memories with this bun recipe. explained in so detail making my work easy, surely gonna try these beauties. In India we just cut them half, roast on each side slightly and pout butter. We call it BUN MASKA. Yum

        I haven’t tried Japanese Milkbread but I heard they are soft and delicious. Perfect to use this for my burgers.
