I love your root vegetables. I haven’t used celeriac in a long time and we love the taste. We also enjoy using fennel. Your beer braised beef looks so yummy. When Hubby drank beer I used beer in many dishes. Now it’s mostly wine, marsala, or vermouth. I pinning your recipe to try once we dig our slow cooker out of storage.

    1. Thanks Marisa. I love cooking wine too but beer does have great flavor and is not so expensive as well.

A good beef stew is the ultimate comfort food and this one looks delicious. I like that you added a bit of beer to help tenderize and flavor the meat and your spice blend looks spot on!

Maybe it’s because we’ve got cold weather here this week … but I’m so drawn to this recipe. It’s warm, hearty, filling … and I can just tell it’s bursting with flavor!

I love all the spices you use in the stew. I make mine very similiar. That beef looks so tender like it will cut with a fork. Love this!
