  1. Thank you for the wonderful recipe. It looks amazing. Can you cook them on the stove top instead of oven or grilling? Please advice.

    1. Yes, of course, Sofia. You can also use an indoor stovetop grill or cast iron skillet if possible.

  2. The recipe sounds amazing, but I want to make sure of the amount of the fresh herbs. Is it a cup of parsley and a cup of mint, or equal parts of both to make a cup?

    1. Steve, You can use equal parts or – more of the one you like. I do more parsley and less mint cause my kids don’t like too much mint.

Great tips in this post! Whenever I make something with ground beef, it always seems to fall apart. I guess I wasn’t using very good quality ones!

    1. Thanks, Cathleen. Yes, you need to knead the meat so it creates a sticky bond. Then it will stay together.

  4. These kebabs look so delicious! I love the blend of cumin, sweet cinnamon and paprika! I had kebabs when I visited Turkey several years ago and they were the most delicious kebabs I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to try your version!

For the time that meat is marinating, can it be in the fridge if it is too hot at room temperature?

Easy, delicious and nutritious meal for the whole family. Love that you dressed your meat with onion, lots of spices, and herbs. Homemade pita must be amazing with these!

    1. Hey I’ve just prepared my meat for tonight and put it in the fridge. I’ve done everything you have stated the only thing I did wrong was grate the onion :/
      Does this matter ?

      1. Also as I didn’t have mixed herbs I just put a tsp of ground mint, a tsp ground coriander and a tsp of basil is this going to ruin it ?
