I am no a slave to tools, but there are a few tools that do make cake decorating easier. Therefore, I have listed a few cake tools here that you may consider investing in.
Yes, we start with the lessons and then move on to baking and decorating. After all, how will you learn if you don’t put your knowledge to practice? So, if you are new to baking cakes then I highly recommend you also do my masterclass – Secrets to Baking Incredible Cakes.
You don’t need a camera to take pictures. Your phone camera is adequate. Just make sure your images are clear, not blurred.
This masterclass is given via a series of emails. You don’t need to do anything. During this two-week masterclass, every day, you will get an email from me with the content and assignment for that particular lesson. Simply follow the lessons and instructions, and do the assignment for each day.

This is the second masterclass I have taken from you and I am so happy that someone recommended you to me because I have learned tons since then! I really can’t thank you enough! Taken me quite a while to write a review because been busy these past few weeks but I would just like to let you know that I have been able to apply what I have learned when I baked my daughter’s birthday cake. I used your simple moist choco cake and cake decorator’s choco ganache and covered with fondant as you have instructed in your other blog post and it was super delish!. The one that I really find useful was the timeline when decorating the cake. I have followed that timeline and so I wasn’t too pressured and exhausted in putting the cake together.
The pace and progression of the course was perfect! The information and explanation was spot-on too! Your blog has become my “one-stop-shop” (you get what I mean?) now when it comes to baking as it has literally everything! From ingredients, fool-proof recipes, timelines, tools, equipment, just everything! And I love it.
