The class was insightful and brought to light things I did not know and things I have not thought of when frosting a cake. Like, using bench scrapers to align the layers or using a level to actually level the cake layers, I have 4 of these as I am an avid wood worker and DIYer. Many things were taught or realized, and best of all, at my pace. I am still very new to cakes and like the fact that time was taken by Veena to respond to my questions and or feed back. I am back tracking and I am going to take the Veena’s Secrets to Baking Incredible Cakes – Masterclass next. I will not decorate the cake I have just finished with this class, however, I will post to the FB Group the frosted cake. I know where I made mistakes.
Thank you so much Stephen for the lovely feedback.
I have signed up for this masterclass repeatedly over the past month but have not received any email.
This really was a great course. Everything was explained and when applicable, photos so you didn’t wonder if what you were doing is what it should look like. I am not good at getting smooth sides but by making me slow down and take it one step at a time, I really felt proud of my not so smooth sides becaue I only focused ono that one thing instead of trying to do everything at once. All the tips were great and I’ve decided to make a weekly cake from start to finish until I’ve mastered the process and can achieve a smooth finished result before decorating.
Thank you for the lovely feedback, Angle. I am so happy you found this masterclass useful.
