A martini is by far the most popular drink, no matter what the variation. This baileys chocolate martini is thick and creamy made with Irish cream, vodka, a splash of espresso, and a dash of chocolate. It takes just 2 minutes to make, but so delicious you can't stop drinking.

What is your favorite alcohol? Perhaps it's age catching up with me, because these days I seem to only like red wine with dinner or an occasional cocktail.
In the past, making cocktails on a daily basis was a part of my job. However, these days I make them occasionally. I do love creating new ones and am always looking for great combinations.
About this chocolate martini
While you can enjoy Baileys Irish Cream on its own, how about doing something more with it? A little bit of vodka, a splash of espresso, and the flavor of chocolate. What else can you ask for? This dessert drink is simple, easy, and very customizable. Add more vodka or Bailey's, perhaps you want less espresso, or omit something altogether. The drink is still absolutely amazing no matter what changes you make to it.
Ingredients and substitutes
- Baileys Irish cream is a rich and creamy liqueur made with Irish whiskey, condensed milk, fresh cream, coffee, and chocolate. You can use the original or make your own using my recipe. I always make my own homemade Baileys Irish cream. In fact, for this martini, you can even use my Butterscotch flavored Bailey's Irish Cream recipe.
- Vodka is a clear distilled alcoholic beverage. Often used in combination with water, tonic water, aerated drinks or fruit juices.
- Chocolate syrup - You can use any brand. Alternatively, you can also use a chocolate liqueur or 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder in a pinch.
- Espresso - Any leftover espresso works. And yet, if you don't have espresso on hand you can also use instant coffee.
