Standing Rib Roast (Prime Rib)

This prime rib roast or standing rib roast is seasoned with a dry spice rib marinade. Then, cooked to a perfect medium-rare, and served with pomegranate gravy. The perfect roast to serve on special occasions

Let’s get started!

Standing ribs roasts, prime ribs roast, beef ribs roasts, or rib-eye roast are all the same things with different names. This is an expensive cut but also a very tender, juicy, and delicious piece of meat.

So simple and easy

Rib marinade

- Combine all marinade ingredients in a food processor or mortar/pestle. 

Marinate the ribs

- Apply the marinade to the ribs and marinate it for 15 mins up to overnight.

Roast the ribs.

- Roast for 15 mins at high heat. Then reduce the oven temperature.

Make gravy

Add the pan juices and remaining pomegranate glaze  to make a delicious gravy for the roast.

Brush the glaze

Brush the glaze and roast until desired doneness.

Continue to roast until the desired doneness

Combine the pan juices and pomegranate glaze to make a wonderful gravy

Rest

Make sure to rest the meat for at least 15 minutes before you cut into it.
