  2. Hi Veena, absolutely love this recipe and is my go to! Just wondered, have you changed the amounts recently as seemed to remember that it was 75g powdered sugar? Thanks!

    1. Hey Hetty, yes, I reduced the powdered sugar because I made it again a few times and thought it could use a tbsp less. But, you can keep it at 75 grams still works

    I came across your YouTube video on Apple crumble tart. I had this dessert at Ruth Chris over Christmas and was curious to make my own. Your video and website are very informative!

    I just bought a deep tart pan (height is 1.8”) with 9.5” diameter. I am going to try the shortcut pastry and the sweet shortcut pastry recipe. My question is whether I need to adjust the recipe? If so, by how much?

    1. Hey Yudi. This shortcrust pastry recipe and the sweet shortcrust pastry both will work for your tart 1.8-inch height up to a 10-inch diameter. You won’t have much leftovers. Just roll until you have the right size. Chill if necessary in between.

    Most of the baking terms you use are Greek to me but I have bookmarked your site for the occasions I need to bake something. Your instructions are great for a novice baker like me and your photos help a lot. I know where I want to go if I want to bake a a tart!

    If I want a dessert or have a question about them, all I have to do is look on your site. My gosh this tart looks wonderful. Hubby’s favorite is a tart. Every time I as what we should make for a family gathering dessert it’s usually a tart or cheesecake. I really love the pasty shell. I’m pinning so I don’t forget where this recipe is.
