The jam looks so good Veena. I do have a big batch of fresh cherries and I was just wondering whether to freeze or make some dessert but this would be perfect. I’m going to try it soon.

I’m all for making anything as naturally as possible. I used to do a lot of canning, green beans, broth, sauces, fruits, jellies, and jams. I loved having a pantry full of goodies. Your jam looks beautiful — like a rich colored jewel. I bet it tastes wonderful. I’d love to have some with my homemade English muffins!

    1. So lucky Marisa. I do not have that kind of produce to can so many things. I don’t even can jams – I make so many in small batches so my kids get variety.

There’s nothing like homemade jam. I used to make my own all the time, but I haven’t in a while. I need to make this.

      1. Hi,
I can’t wait to try this recipe, we have a lot of cherries!
I just have a couple of questions. How long is good to eat after you made it? What kind of sugar you used?

        1. Hey Paty
I keep mine in the fridge for months (6 months) – I use regular white sugar.
Let me know how it was

          1. Excuse me! Without the canning process?
