Yogurt Parfait Recipe
This Yogurt Parfait recipe is a quick and healthy breakfast you can put together in just 5 minutes. All you need is yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit. Perfect for busy mornings, after-school snacks, or even a light dessert.

I’ve been making yogurt parfaits for years — they started out as my go-to “snack hack” when my kids wanted something sweet, but I wanted them to eat something healthier. Now, it’s become a family favorite breakfast. The best part is how flexible it is — sometimes I keep it simple with yogurt and berries, other times I’ll layer in tropical fruit or even a drizzle of chocolate.
Why you’ll love this yogurt parfait?
- Quick & easy — 5 minutes, no cooking.
- Healthy but feels like a treat.
- Customizable with your favorite fruits, nuts, or granola.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, but add granola last to keep it crunchy.
Yes, just thaw slightly before layering.
Not necessary if the granola already has sugar added to it. Often, commercial granolas are loaded with sugar, and so there may not be a need for any additional honey or maple syrup.
Greek yogurt is thick and creamy, but you can use any type you like.
Yes, especially when made with plain yogurt and fresh fruit.

Yogurt Parfait Recipe
If you love yogurt and granola, then a yogurt parfait will be your favorite breakfast, snack, meal, or dessert! It takes 5 minutes to make and needs only four ingredients.
Method
- Breakfast parfait – In a glass or shallow bowl, add a few tablespoons of yogurt, and top with some granola, followed by some freshly chopped fruits. Then, add a few more tablespoons of yogurt, granola, and freshly chopped fruit.
- Do the same but use frozen yogurt instead of Greek yogurt. You can add some whipped cream for garnish.
Notes
- You can use a clear glass or shallow bowl. The clear glass makes for a better presentation.
- Layer the ingredients so they all look separate and yet together.
- I like to start with yogurt, granola, and fruits, then follow with more yogurt, granola, and fruits. This creates texture.
- I like to use chilled ingredients, but you can also chill the parfait in the fridge overnight.
- Make it more impressive with a sprig of mint or chocolate chips.

Could not wait for Valentine’s Day but made this over the weekend for hubby and me. Loved it. I tried Granola for the first time. And you are right I had no clue it was so easy to make granola at home. Using honey in place of sugar was definitely worth the extra effort. Thank you for sharing this.
