  9. I am confused with some of the directions – you say in the description that the turkey is browned first however it does not say that in the actual recipe directions. Can you clarify?

    1. No susan. The turkey is best not browned! Unlike beef, where browning the meat works butter in this case it tends to dry out the meat. That is why you can use both raw as well as cooked leftover turkey in this recipe. Thanks
