  1. There is a interesting story about how Pablo Picasso, the famous Spanish artist, developed the ability to produce remarkable work in just minutes.

As the story goes, Picasso was walking though the market one day when a woman spotted him. She stopped the artist, pulled out a piece of paper and said, “Mr. Picasso, I am a fan of your work. Please, could you do a little drawing for me?”

Picasso smiled and quickly drew a small, but beautiful piece of art on the paper. Then, he handed the paper back to her saying, “That will be one million dollars.”

“But Mr. Picasso,” the woman said. “It only took you thirty seconds to draw this little masterpiece.”

“My good woman,” Picasso said, “It took me thirty years to draw that masterpiece in thirty seconds.”

I know how customer feel, I try to work with people but when asking for alto of things on a cake, just cant do on their budget. Something has to be made in advance and take some time of make and I have to charge for my time. My kids and grand kids know how long it takes to make some of their cake. Maybe I should start charging them. Lol

I get that alto. I have to explained to customers as well. They be wanting a 3 to 5 tier cake for a small child and think they're going to pay $50 for it. I tell them the more cake you want and how the design is the more it cost. One customer text me and told me I need to adjusted my price for her budget. Didn't even response. Just just laugh.

    Hi there,
I am new to your site; I really like your professionalism. I deal with customer every single day. I don’t let the customer walk away without having a second option ( for what they can afford ) sometimes they like it much better. I always try to work something out, if it doesn’t work fine.
