⅛tspA pinch of black pepper (to help with curcumin absorption)
½ - 1 tspGrated ginger
2tbsp(30ml)Lemon juice
1tspHoney or maple syrup(adjust to taste)
1cup(240ml)Hot water (not boiling)
Lemon slicesfor garnish
Instructions
Add turmeric powder (or fresh turmeric), a pinch of black pepper powder, grated ginger, lemon juice, and honey or maple syrup to a heat-proof glass.
½ tsp turmeric powder , ⅛ tsp A pinch of black pepper, ½ - 1 tsp Grated ginger, 2 tbsp Lemon juice, 1 tsp Honey or maple syrup
Warm the water, but don’t let it boil; boiling water can destroy some nutrients in honey and lemon. Pour into the glass, give it a good stir, and leave to steep for 5 minutes.
1 cup Hot water, Lemon slices
