Instructions
Prepare the vanilla beans - Cut the vanilla beans into small pieces using a sharp knife or scissors. Smaller pieces make grinding easier and more even.

Grind into a powder - Place the chopped beans in a spice grinder or small high-speed blender cup. Blend until the beans resemble a fine, dark powder.
Blend with honey and alcohol - Add the honey and dark rum (or vodka) to the ground vanilla. Blend again until the mixture becomes thick, dark, and glossy.
