1lb(450g)Ground beeflean
1tablespoon(1tablespoon)Olive oil
1teaspoon(1teaspoon)Garlicminced
½cup(½cup)Onionschopped
½cup(½cup)Carrotsdiced
½cup(½cup)Celerychopped
½cup(100g)Potatoeschopped
2tablespoon(2tablespoon)Tomato paste
2(2 )Bay leaves
1cup(250ml)Stock
½cup(50g)Parmesan
½cup(120g)Gouda cheese
½cup(½cup)Parsley chopped
½teaspoon(½teaspoon)Salt
½teaspoon(½teaspoon)Pepper

Instructions
Saute ground beef in oil for 2 minutes until browned
Add the garlic, onions, carrots, celery – saute 2 minutes more
Then add the potatoes – saute a minute
Season with salt and pepper
Add the tomato paste, bay leaves, and stock
Cook for 8 minutes until potatoes are tender
Then add the parmesan, cheddar, parsley
Taste and adjust seasoning and consistency. If necessary add a few tablespoons of water or stock
Serve with toasted bread
