This berry smoothie is a delicious blend of berries mixed with creamy yogurt and chia seeds. It gives your day a perfect pickup, be it for breakfast, a mid-day snack, or a healthy dessert.
Blend all the ingredients except the honey in a blender until smooth.
Taste and adjust for sweetness. Add the honey if necessary.
Pour into individual serving glasses and garnish with fresh fruit or mint leaves.
Recipe Notes
Use fresh or frozen berries
The color of your smoothie will be determined by the berries you use. I use more strawberries and so my smoothie has a pretty light pink. More raspberries will give you a deeper rose pink.
You can use regular or Greek yogurt. Greek yogurt is thicker and produces a thicker consistency for the smoothie
You can also add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to this smoothie.
This smoothie will keep in the fridge for 2 to 3 days. Give it a good stir again when ready to serve.
I like to use my Ninja blender so the berries turn into a nice smooth smoothie. Some blenders may leave berry seeds in the smoothie.
