This Wafer Paper Flower Tutorial is a great way to make an edible and quick paper flower to adorn any cakes especially if you have last minute cake request. It needs no drying time plus wafer paper is as light as a feather so you can place it on the cake without any risk of it damaging your cake.

Today's guest post is by my lovely friend Dina Nakad of Miettes. A very talented cake artist located in Lebanon. I have always admired here pretty cakes especially her wafer paper flowers and so I requested her if she'd be willing to share one of her wafer paper flower tutorials with my blog visitors and she happily obliged. This is actually the second tutorial that Dina has given us - her first is also a popular How to make a fondant Picture Transfer for cakes
Here’s a little Bio that Dina shared with us
I am Dina Nakad, founder of Miettes. I’ve always loved cooking and my baking passion started when I was living in San Francisco; I wanted to make healthy desserts so that my family and friends would enjoy something decadent yet healthy and I succeeded in doing that.
My cake decorating passion started two years ago when friends and family started asking me to make their kids’ birthday parties’ cakes. “miettes” started soon after. I consider myself still in the learning process, I am completely self-taught, I watch online classes to learn.
My cake idol is Maggie Austin and ruffles are the one-item I love doing the most. 3D modeling is still something I have to work on and I am really enjoying the 2D version.
Hope you enjoy this tutorial!!
