How to make a Checker Board Cake
Have you tried making a Checker Board Cake yet? My daughter is crazy about checker boards.
Checker board cakes do look difficult but actually they are quite easy.
They are however a bit time consuming. So while normally you would just stack the layers here you do a tad more than that. So let me show you how I do it.
Now you can do this with not just Vanilla and Chocolate ! You can do this with the Rainbow cake too! Just make extra layers!! and do exactly the same process and guess what you’ll have a Rainbow checkerboard cake. How cool is that?
Want your customers to enjoy cakes that taste as delicious as they look?

Wondering how much batter you need?
Have no time to calculate your recipes?
Are you sure your recipe will work the same when doubled or tripled?
Don't know how to convert recipes?
Do you need a 4 inch tall cake?
or perhaps a 6" tall cake?
Round or Square cake?
Don't worry - I can help!!
My Tried and Tested recipes are already calculated for your convenience.
I have calculate 15 different size pans for you in each PDF - be it Round or Square & and yes both 4 or 6 inch tall cakes.
So now a single tier or double barrel baking is a piece of cake with my PDFs.

Another important point to note is to make sure that your cake layers are all the same height and you cut them at a right distance – so you have squares and not triangles when you put the layers together.
This was the simplest I did recently.
