Often I am surprised when people tell me they don’t have edible glue. Of course you do!!
Even water is glue in cake decorating so yes you do have edible glue.
Depending on what you working on quite often water is all it takes to glue things together on cakes. Use Buttercream as glue on a buttercream cake, use water as glue on a fondant cake because sugar sticks to sugar so a little water is all takes to make fondant tacky.
When making sugar flowers you need something a bit more firm so sugar water works, egg whites works, and so does tylose water.
