Dress Inspired White Wedding Cake
I made a few wedding cakes these past two weeks and I am so looking forward to sharing those with you. Here is one which is inspired by the brides dress.
Here's a close up of the top tier!
The flowers are hand pulled little blossoms and the center rose is a called a Vintage Rose. I learned to make that from Zoe Clark in her recent class Charming Party Cakes
The bottom tier did not co-operate with the high humidity last week. So all the impression I kept putting on the fondant would just disappear after some time. Was really weird. I did in the end manage to get it to stay but boy did I have to do it a few time over.
The molds I used on the middle tier are from Marvelous Molds.
The Karen Lace Molds
The classic Pearl Boarder
The Flourish Center Piece mold
I hope you like it . Here are a few more pictures.
This also made it to the Daily Top 3 cakes on CD.
Wish you all a lovely week.
