DIY easy cupcake wrappers is a great way to dress up simple cupcakes. A well dressed cupcake with a pretty cupcake wrapper makes for a good presentation to give to customers or as gifts to family and friends.
Have you tried to purchase cupcake wrappers? There are such absolutely gorgeous and trendy ones out in the market but quite often they are so expensive that they tend to hike the price of your cupcake considerably? Well, at least that is the case for me. Look at these below, gorgeous!!
But of course sometimes cupcakes without a cupcake wrapper can look under dressed. Especially when you have wrappers that soak up some of the oil from the cupcake batter. Or change color when they are heated up.
These are the exact same cupcakes.. with some fancy cupcake wrappers. Personally I would be willing to pay a little extra for the finesse. These are some cupcakes which I wrapped with my DIY Easy cupcake wrappers Method made from 12" doilies.
Now you can find Doilies very cheap. I buy a pack of ten for one dollars. A good price compared to the fancy cupcake wrappers.
Another easy way to make your cupcakes more presentable is to add a second cupcake wrapper or using baking cupcake. These do come in really pretty designs now. But again often you get customers who prefer the good old cupcake wrapper.
Here is how I made the Cupcake Wrappers with Doilies. I do hope you find them useful.
