Christmas Cake for the family – 2012
I made this Christmas Cake for the family this week. Simple easy and effortless. Wish you all a Merry Christmas. I wish you and your family have a wonderful holiday.
I have been so busy this whole week I had no time to make a Christmas Cake for my family. I did make cookies which I shared yesterday but my son was still so upset that we did not make a cake. It’s weird how I was so busy with cake orders that I really was not thinking of what and how I would make the family Christmas cake.
Honestly I thought that since the kids don’t eat much cake anymore I’might make a dessert for dinner. But now I realized that since the kids are small they do need that eye candy on the table even if they don’t eat much. They still want that joy of having a Christmas Cake!!
Aadi was most upset and he again wanted Santa and Snowman on this cake but I convinced him that we should make some thing different for a change.
Well, this is what I could make at short notice. It’s my Double Chocolate Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Ganache and Classic French Buttercream and of course my Homemade Fondant /Sugar paste recipe. There are plenty of recipes on this blog that would be perfect for Christmas but as a kid I grew up eating – Rich Fruit Cake and Christmas Pudding
Oh I just realized, my last post was 200th posts. Can you believe it? Just over a year and we have 200 posts on this blog already…wow.. Thanks guys.
Once again – Season’s Greetings to you all.
