Burgundy Stenciled Wedding Cake
This Burgundy Stenciled Wedding Cake with vintage roses is my latest wedding cake. I love how it turned out and the effect of the bronze really gives a nice touch.
I’m not a big fan of stenciling so; I don’t use stencil on my cakes very often but I really love how this turned out. I want to say perfect but… ah well..! let’s just say I was proud of my stenciling work on this one.
The bride loved her cake and it’s always an amazing feedback to get after the wedding is over.
Aren’t those roses gorgeous? And if you look close you will see why I call them vintage. They have a little glow of Gold.
The flavors are to die for. Such exotic choices even I was drooling over it all.

My blossoms are just hand pulled blossoms.
Love my bottom tier burgundy shade, it’s from Magic Colors and I embossed fondant using a lace mat. You can see the lace mat and buy it in this shop Molds by Precious here. The lovely Rainy Clement gave me this one as a little gift last year when I met here at CI! Love it so much.
Three Tiers stenciled with Burgundy Luster Dust.
The Stencil work?
If you are wondering about the stencil work. Yes, I have airbrush the bronze luster on a stencil very carefully.
The three tiers have different stencils in the same shape but different sizes.
