Hand Painted Roses Wedding Cake
I ended my year 2015 with this Hand Painted Roses Wedding Cake. I’m not big of a painter but I do love a little bit of hand painting especially with flowers.
For those of you that attended my demonstrations in UK Birmingham this year, these are the hand painted roses I demonstrated at the Magic Colours stand.
Yes, I use Magic Colors for these paintings and I love how perfect the consistency of paint really is.
My Rhea thinks all the cakes are for her and she insist on taking a picture with each and every one of them if she can. Here’s a lovely one I took of hers with this cake.
These are three layers of my cakes from my calculated Recipes collection.
VAOC Lemon Cake – with Lemon Curd and Lemon Buttercream
VAOC Chocolate fudge Cake with Chocolate Frosting
VAOC Earl Grey Cake with Vanilla Buttercream
How to Paint on Cakes.
I have shared with you in my previous posts how I paint on my cakes. While I do not have a tutorial for this particulate cake I have shared a detailed tutorial on my hand painted cookies which you might find useful. I have not used the same method to paint here. These are freehand roses but I think it will be a good place to start. So check these out Hand Painted Butterfly Cookies.
