So I was invited on this trip by Magic Colours. I have told you about Magic Colours on my page and blog before. They have amazing gel colors, petals dust, edible metallic and some cool Luster filled pens too. I have been using them for over three years now – and I can honestly say 9 out of 10 of my cakes are Magic Colours.
Well, I just had to accept the invitation and here I am – all set to go to Birmingham. I will be there on all three days – Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 2 pm. I leave on Saturday afternoon.

I will also be at G 14 which is the booth for Satin Ice – I am scheduled to be there on
Friday at 11 am and Saturday at 3 pm.
What will I be demonstrating at Cake International Birmingham?
Well, I’ve had lots of interest in some of my Hand Painted cakes and thought I’d treat you to some hand painted demos.
So for Magic Colors demonstration – at D50
You see this plaque here. If there is anything on there that you would like to know come ask me and I’ll show you how I did it. Yup! a great treat to come see me – right?
There’s some Christmas inspired painting, a few blossoms, Poppies, Roses. Wood grain and painted brush embroidery too!
And for Satin Ice at G14 –

I’m so excited about this trip. It’s my first cake show and first demonstration so.. kinda nervous too.
And of course the best part of all will be meeting all the wonderful cake people I have admired from so far away!!
And the cherry on top of it all will be going to the Cake Oscars. Yes, I am going to the Cake Masters Awards Ceremony too!!
