Merry Christmas and Some Baked Christmas Goodies
I wanted to make a special post just to wish you all a Merry Christmas and to share with you some of the baked christmas goodies I made for our family this year.
Merry Christmas to you all my lovelies!!
Now that the christmas Holidays is upon us I find myself reflecting upon the past 12 months. I would like to thank you all; for your loyalty and goodwill throughout this year 2016.
Lots has happened in this year and I will speak more about it in the next post when I review this year with you. For now I want you to know that I am so grateful for all the love and kindness I receive from you all on this blog and on my Facebook Page.
I really look forward to doing more on this blog in the next year. Again while I will speak about it in detail in the next post I know you will be happy to know that I plan to work on more Recipes, Cake Tutorials, more video tutorials both on you tube channel as well as Online Shop for the next coming year.
I wish you and your loved ones a Joyous Christmas. I hope you have done some amazing Christmas Baking and Cooking this year.
Hanuka and Christmas
We celebrate Christmas and Hanukah both at the same time this year. Today is the first day of Hanukah too! How lucky are my kids that they get to celebrate both which means more gifts and more fun. Ain’t that cool?
I made these cookies for both my kids classes. I love when I can give something and make kids feel a little special. Of course I made more Hanuka cookies because obviously the kids are all excited about Hanukah. BUT!! apparently the Christmas Cookies turned out to be more popular and the kids were disappointed that some got Hanuka cookies.
I’m going to make a note of that and make sure next time I send more Christmas Cookies. These were a lot of cookies!! I had to make 60 for the kids.
I also usually like to give treats to people we work and deal with on a regular basis. kids Bus drivers, teachers, coaches, Rhea’s therapists etc. So those were another 40 more…!
I gave these three cookies to one of Rhea’s therapist and she was over the moon so excited and said she would not have the heart to eat it. These little gestures make this time of the year ever so special isn’t’ it? I shared how I made these in my previous video tutorial – Christmas Cookie Decorating
For the kids as usual we did some Gingerbread Cookies and some Snowflake Christmas Cookies that they hung on the Christmas Tree
As always we made some traditional Rich Fruit Cake as well. This time we chose not to decorate it. But the kids got into it as soon as it was baked so we din’t get time to click any pictures but again a very popular recipe on this blog here Rich Fruit Cake – You can find it on Pinterest here too.
Once again I want to wish you all A MERRY CHRISTMAS – I hope this holiday season fills your heart with love.
